We all run differently, its natural as we are all shaped differently. If you have long legs its likely you’ll use them to your benefit and stride out or you should anyway 🙂 short legs, shorter strides?
It was not until I began running with a club that I was even aware that I had a very distinctive ODD style. As I run my right leg I think flicks to the side. I’m sure there is a name for it and apparently if I was a race horse my style would be described as dishing.
I have overheard many comments and I’m sure made my own judgements of runners based on there sometimes very amusing style however:
If you are a runner who is thinking about my odd style whilst your running behind me, your behind me so my style obviously works well for me!!
