This morning I woke up as dawn broke and jumped up from my bed singing morning has broken whilst getting on myrunning kit, tied up my flowing beautiful locks and headed out of the door as the sun rose whistling with the birds who flew around me as though I was the. Disney princess of runners!!!
Had to cross all that out as it was utter rubbish but it could have happened.
It actually went more like this…. Eventually eeked my rusty joints out of my bed at gone 9:00am (very rare occurrence in our Wishing I had stretched after last nights half marathon, too late now. Got dressed and ready for the day and sat with a bowl of porridge and a cup of coffee in front of the TV reliving the 90s watching TfI Friday on catch up before getting going.
Today’s exercise will be…… Wait for it…..
A run!! Oh yes and not a slow run either if my legs allow me to I will be running 5 miles a little later after the kids are tucked up in bed.
Top tip: STRETCH!! after any excercises that that make your muscles work to fatigue to resist that rusty feeling
