A wet day today – hard going with the rain not stopping for the whole 3:59:00 I was out there. I set off with pain killers onboard to make sure my toes didn’t annoy me too much. That with a bit of taping seemed to do the trick untill I was coming down hill during the second part of the course around 16-17 miles and it felt like my little left toe exploded (really) however as I knew it was just a blister I kept on and it eventually just morphed into a bearable pain and added to the others on my shredded feet.
A miserable run but s successful one to say the least which ended in a few tears from about mile 25.5 as I got a little emotional. Fortunately Aly the great lovely huggable Aly was there with s hug as I crossed the line and there it is
